Yusuf is a true local product. Residing in Karlien Park and having played for AFC Rustenburg from 2009 through 2013, he has a deep understanding of the club ethos and a great love for the youth and football. He progressed easily from a player to a coach and has maintained high standards and expectations of his players. He has a great rapport with all players from the youngest 10-year olds to the oldest 17- and 18-year olds. He relates well and conveys both the life and football lessons in a contemporary way which contributes greatly to the club’s successes both on and off the field. His life is truly embroiled in football and he coaches at a local high School, Grenswag.
