Coach RM is Head of Development at AFC Rustenburg and oversees the club’s Technical and Tactical aspects of all football related matters.

Rene (Sir RM, as he is referred to), is a qualified licensed and experienced football coach. He has been involved in football as a player and a coach for over 20 years. He brings experience, enthusiasm, creativity, passion and an appetite for success to the club. He is an activator, achiever, and an analytic person. He possesses excellent communication and person-management skills. He is great in engaging with players whatever their age, ability or individual motivation, and quickly develops a good rapport with a team. He has an excellent eye for detail and good work ethic. He possesses years of experience in coaching football at different levels, from being assistant Coach at Basotho Tigers (NFD), part of the Platinum Stars FC (PSL) coaching setup for more then 6 years as both helping at the club’s first team and development teams. Head Coach of the ABC team of different clubs in South Africa including Platinum Stars.
