A product of SAFA Transnet School Of Excellence with 10 years professional football experience at both Premier Soccer League and National First Division levels. He played for clubs the likes of Platinum Stars FC, Free State Stars FC, Ga-Rankuwa FC and Milano United AFC; as well as numerous call-ups to the Under 20 national team. During this time he had the privilege of being mentored and coached by some of South Africa’s best managers; such as Steve Komphela, Rulani Mokoena, Boebie Solomons and Dans Malisela, to name a few.

As a coach at AFC Rustenburg, he brings a unique mandate to nurture the God-given talent and to improve the play and lifestyle of players. He has the desire is to instil a strong work ethic which will affect a player’s future lives for the better. In his coaching technique and interpreting the game he says:

“If you can’t see what I’m saying, hear what I’m saying ;and if you can’t hear what I’m saying, see what I’m saying.” 

Football is more than what you see with your eye and more than what you interpret with your ear. The game is vast and beautiful and only the fine-tuned ear and well trained eye can capture it’s true essence. That is why I believe in teaching boys what I was taught that they may exceed my achievements on all levels.
